NURS 230 - Nursing Care of the Childbearing Family

Units: 2
Nursing concepts and theory related to the dynamics of the growing family. Focuses on the care of families during childbearing years and includes both normal and high-risk conditions. Nursing process is stressed in addressing both self-care requisites and deficits. Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of the Director of the School of Nursing. Enrollment Requirements: Enrollment Requirement: NURS 212A , NURS 220 , NURS 221 , NURS 260  and NURS 261 . Simultaneous enrollment in NURS 231 .
