NURS 201 - Introduction to Nursing Practice Laboratory

Units: 2
Application of basic therapeutic nursing interventions in the clinical setting within the context of Orem’s Self-Care Theory. Includes clinical experiences in the ambulatory and/or acute or long-term health care settings, as well as simulated experiences in the Nursing Skills Laboratory. Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of the Director of the School of Nursing. Enrollment Requirements: Enrollment Requirement: Simultaneous enrollment in NURS 200 , 202, NURS 210 , and NURS 211 . Nine hours of laboratory.
