Application of organizational theory and management practices in health care settings. Development of skills and competencies for the frontline nurse manager within and beyond the walls of the acute care setting. Operationalizes the role of the nurse manager as leader and change agent in the delivery of care to patient groups and communities within complex and diverse health care settings. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of the Director of the School of Nursing. Enrollment Requirement(s): NURS 324 , NURS 325 , and NURS 316B . Simultaneous enrollment in NURS 330 , NURS 331 , NURS 352 , and NURS 450 . Six hours of laboratory.
