NURS 450 - Nursing Leadership and Professional Issues

Units: 3
Organizational theory and management practices applied to health care systems. The role of the nurse manager as leader and change agent in the delivery of care to patient groups and communities within complex and diverse health care settings. Contemporary issues affecting the delivery of health care and discipline and professional practice of nursing. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of the Director of the School of Nursing. Enrollment Requirement(s): NURS 324 , NURS 325 , and NURS 316B . Simultaneous enrollment in NURS 330 , NURS 331 , NURS 352 , and NURS 451 .
