PSCI 366 - The Search for Peace: The Arab-Israeli Peace ProcessUnits: 3 A study of the main approaches to conflict resolution through a focus on the Arab-Israeli peace process. The discussion will include theories of conflict and conflict resolution, peace studies, negotiation, the role of external powers, and mediation. Explores the theoretical topics through a critical examination of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, beginning with Jewish settlement in Ottoman Palestine in the 1880s to the present peace process. (INP) May not be taken for credit by students who have received credit for PSCI 362 -1. Recommended Preparation: PSCI 350 .
