MATH 474 - Introduction to CombinatoricsUnits: 3 Introduction of the basic tools of combinatorics and their applications. Permutations, combinations, occupancy problems, generating functions, recurrences, inclusion/ exclusion, graph theory, pigeonhole principle, experimental design, and coding theory.
Prerequisite(s): for undergraduates and enrollment requirement(s) for graduate students: MATH 350 or MATH 370 with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
