BIOL 354 - Principles of Ecology

Discusses major concepts in population, community, and evolutionary ecology including population growth and regulation, competition, predation, energetics, adaptations, and diversity.
Three hours of lecture. One hour of discussion. Three hours of laboratory. Field trip(s) during or outside of class (including weekends) may be required.

Prerequisite(s): For BIOL majors: BIOL 210 , BIOL 211 , BIOL 212 , and BIOL 215  with grades of C (2.0) or better.

For ENV BIOL minors: BIOL 211 , BIOL 212 , and BIOL 215  with grades of C (2.0) or better.

Or enrollment in the Biological Sciences graduate program.
