BIOL 212 - EvolutionUnits: 3 Considers evolution as the unifying concept in biology. Covers diversity and adaptation of form, function, and behavior of living organisms. Explores biological, geological, anthropological, and chemical evidence for and mechanisms of evolutionary change, including global pattern of distribution and specialization, mass extinctions, the evolution of race and sex, and the origin of species. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to Biological Sciences Majors.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 210 or BIOL 211 with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
