Certificate in Spanish Translation

The goal of this certificate is to prepare students who are interested in the field of professional Spanish translation. The certificate is offered through the Modern Languages Department at Cal State San Marcos, and is available to all students, including students taking classes through Extended Learning. Ideal candidates should demonstrate high proficiency in Spanish and English.

In order to obtain the certificate, students must successfully complete the twelve (12) required credit units with a minimum grade of B (3.0) in each course.
