Business Emergency Preparedness Planning Certificate

“It’s not a matter of ‘if’ disaster strikes an organization or community; it’s a matter of ‘when.’ This career pathway program prepares participants to facilitate emergency planning in the private, public or nonprofit sector.”

David Harrison - BEPP Program Advisor, Emergency Preparedness Manager, City of Carlsbad

Program Overview

The purpose of the Professional Certificate in Business Emergency Preparedness Planning (BEPP) is to provide businesses and organizations with the information needed to develop and implement
an emergency preparedness plan for their organization. This program is unique among emergency and disaster programs because it is specifically designed to ensure an organization has a process that will mitigate damage in the event of a disaster, and allow for recovery and business resumption.
