Program Overview
The purpose of the Professional Certificate in Business Emergency Preparedness Planning (BEPP) is to provide businesses and organizations with the information needed to develop and implement
an emergency preparedness plan for their organization. This program is unique among emergency and disaster programs because it is specifically designed to ensure an organization has a process that will mitigate damage in the event of a disaster, and allow for recovery and business resumption.

Start Date: Spring 2018
Time: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., Fridays
Duration: Six weeks: one day per week
Location: Offsite at area emergency operation centers
Fee: $999 entire certificate (lunch, materials, notebook included)

Audience
• Any manager who has not developed an emergency plan, but understands the need to create one
• Any manager who is tasked with the responsibility for overseeing and directly managing an organization’s emergency plan, but has limited or no experience in this discipline
• Anyone interested in pursuing a career in emergency planning
