Units: 4Explores the management and funding challenges inherent in organizing and launching a new venture. Helps students build necessary skills to take a business idea developed in previous courses through the process of starting the business, providing hands-on experiences in organizing a new venture (e.g. legal structures, boards of directors) and accessing early-stage startup funding. Covers strategies to achieve and manage early-stage growth, develop early-stage fundraising and negotiate with suppliers and partners.
