ACCT 203 - Introduction to Accounting for ManagersUnits: 4 Introduces accounting information used by managers in business decision-making. Financial accounting modules introduce how firms use financial statements to communicate financial conditions and results of operations to their stakeholders. Managerial accounting modules address how accountants produce managerial accounting information for internal decision-making. Also includes environment of financial reporting, internal control systems, analysis of financial statements, alternatives to financial reporting, introduction to tax accounting, and introduction to accounting for not-for-profit and government organizations. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: ACCT 201 and ACCT 202 .
