MATH 464 - Numerical Analysis and Computing

Units: 3

Computer arithmetic, solution of a single algebraic equation, interpolating polynomials, numerical integration, error analysis, and computational effort of numerical algorithms. Combines theoretical ideas with hands-on laboratory experience. Cross-listed: MATH 464 and CS 464 are cross-listed. Students may not receive credit for both.

Prerequisite(s): CS 111 and MATH 162 .
