HIST 510 - Experiential Learning in Public HistoryUnits: 3 Introduction to the field of public history, combining graduate level training in the theory and methods of public history with a minimum of 30 hours of an internship in a field placement. Considers issues in archival techniques, museum exhibition, oral history, historical preservation, and local history. Advanced undergraduates interested in taking this course should consult the instructor. May be repeated for a total of six 6 units. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to graduate students; advanced undergraduates need consent of instructor to enroll.
