HD 380 - Child and Youth Development in Family and Community ContextsUnits: 3 Considers the social cultural, cognitive, emotional, linguistic, and behavioral development of children and youth from interdisciplinary, multicultural, and applied perspectives. Students will apply major theories in the field of human development to their work in evidence-based services and programs for children and youth in a variety of family and community contexts with special attention to identifying multicultural and sociocultural influences on development. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: HD 370 -3, EDUC 380 . Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to Human Development Majors with Junior or Senior standing.
Prerequisite(s): ANTH 200 , HD 101 , HD 102 , HD 230 and, either HD 230 or HD 231 . Satisfies GE area: DD Satisfies Diversity & Equity area: DEu
