NURS 441 - Community Health Nursing LaboratoryUnits: 3 Clinical experience within an official local governmental agency illustrative of the public health system. Students work as a member of an interdisciplinary team, applying the frameworks that guide our community-based and population-focused public health nursing practice to help identified populations within the community maintain their optimal level of health. Focuses on care management of clients receiving services from community agencies, allied clinical experiences and community assessment and planning. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of the Director of the School of Nursing. Enrollment Requirement(s): For generic nursing students, NURS 370. For ABSN students, NURS 324, NURS 325 and NURS 316B. Nine hours of laboratory.
Corequisite(s): For generic students, NURS 440. For absn students, NURS 442, NURS 447, NURS 490, and NURS 495.
