AMD 105 - Digital PhotographyUnits: 3 Introduces technical and conceptual aspects of digital photography, with a focus on creating visually compelling images and enriching artistic practices. Incorporates the digital photographic process from input to output, including manual controls of a DSLR camera, compositional and lighting elements, and the implementation of a digital workflow using image-editing software to store, edit and produce images. Invites experimentation with different approaches to digital art making and diverse platforms for presentation, including print and online formats. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: VSAR 302. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to AMD majors and minors. Two hours of lecture. Two hours of laboratory.
