SLP 602 - Bilingual and Bicultural Practice Issues in Speech-Language Pathology

Units: 3
The nature of language development and processing in bilingual individuals, including the manifestation of speech and language impairment in these populations. Students will learn assessment and intervention practices with bilingual children. Students will also gain knowledge and skills related to ASHA Code of Ethics regarding “Cultural Competence.” May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: EDSL 602.
