PSCI 366 - The Search for Peace: The Arab-Israeli Peace ProcessUnits: 3 A study of the main approaches to conflict resolution through a focus on the Arab-Israeli peace process. The discussion will include theories of conflict and conflict resolution, peace studies, negotiation, the role of external powers, and mediation. Explores the theoretical topics through a critical examination of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, beginning with Jewish settlement in Ottoman Palestine in the 1880s to the present peace process.
