NURS 539D - Advanced Practice Externship - FNP

Units: 4
Designed for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to work in a clinical setting and enhance advanced clinical practice under the supervision of an advanced practice nurse or physician as a role model. Advanced assessment skills and advanced nursing practice in the FNP role will be performed. Students will complete 180 clinical hours. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of the Director of the School of Nursing. Enrollment restricted to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing Program.
