GEOG 202 - World Regional Geography: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) EnhancedUnits: 3 Enhanced survey of major world regions and their major countries using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology. Study of specific geographical circumstances and geographical concepts, including an emphasis on physical geography. Focuses on processes and issues such as development and under-development; population and migration; race, class, and gender; technology and economic growth; natural resources and the environment, and conflict and cooperation with a world regional framework. Fulfills the world regional geography requirement of the Elementary Subject Matter Preparation Program and the Integrated Credential Program. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: GEOG 201 or GEOG 301.
