BIOL 477L - Immunology LabUnits: 2 Technique-oriented course that complements Immunology (BIOL 477 ). Covers modern immunological assays and methodologies. Specific techniques include hemagluttination, ELISAs, immunoprecipitation and Western blot assays. Also explores section on animal handling, targeting animal research ethics, rodent handling and tissue dissection. Students will also be exposed to immunological database and algorithmic tools in a bioinformation unit. Four hours of laboratory.
Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): BIOL 477 , or enrollment in the Biological Sciences graduate program.
