CS 452 - Introduction to Computer SecurityUnits: 3 Introduces students to the principles of computer security, with emphasis on applied encryption, software/system security, and web security. Subjects such as encryption algorithm, access control, authentication, buffer overflow, SQL injection and cross-site scripting attack will be covered. Both theoretical and practical knowledge will be provided to enhance understanding of computer security issues. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: CS 497-8.
Prerequisite(s): CS 433 .
