AMD 103 - Introduction to SculptureUnits: 3 Introduction to the fundamental principles of three-dimensional design. Includes a brief survey of traditional and contemporary media, ideas, history and sculpture as a means of cultural expression. A variety of techniques and materials are used. Includes training with basic tools and equipment in a wood and metal shop. Emphasis on development of the ideas and methods of art expression. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: VSAR 110. Two hours of lecture. Three hours of laboratory.
