ECON 445 - Gender and DevelopmentUnits: 3 Gender analysis remains in the peripheries of development theory and practice despite evidence which suggests that “modernization” results in disparate outcomes for similarly situated women and men. To bridge this analytical gap in development studies, the course explores the gender dimensions of the dramatic structural changes taking place in the world economy.
