CHEM 361 - ToxicologyUnits: 3 Introduces the basic tools and fundamental principles of toxicology in the context of chemical design for minimizing potential toxicity of commercial chemicals. Covers computational methods for prediction of bioavailability, reactivity, bioaccumulation and different types of toxicity. Reviews business sustainability drivers and barriers while investigating the health and environmental hazards that contribute to human disease. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: CHEM 491-5.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 341 or CHEM 352 .
