KINE 302 - Care and Management of Musculoskeletal InjuriesUnits: 3 Examines the role of the healthcare provider who treats musculoskeletal conditions. Includes the principles and application methods of comprehensive therapeutic evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation programs commonly sustained by the physically active. Students will apply physical therapy skills, demonstrate clinical problem-solving, implement treatment modalities, and assume professional roles in various clinical settings including physical and occupational therapy and other allied healthcare professions. Two hours of lecture. Three hours of lab. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to Kinesiology majors.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 104 , BIOL 177 , BIOL 178 , and KINE 202 .
