SOC 456 - Zombie SociologyUnits: 4 Critically examines social institutions (family, economics, religion, education, state, etc.) in the context of a zombie apocalypse. Covers global perspectives on human rights, conflict and cooperation, and law. Explores ways in which inequality is reproduced with an emphasis on: racism, gender roles, war profiteering, systems of law and order, ableism, global economy, pandemics, health services, social utility, poverty, and various forms of oppression. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: SOC 485-3. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to Sociology, Criminology and Justice Studies, and Global Studies majors and minors.
Prerequisite(s): GBST 100 or SOC 101 or SOC 105
