SOC 660 - Teaching Sociology

Focuses on pedagogical methods for teaching sociology and social justice at the college or university level. Designed as a workshop to enable students to actively participate in creating and cultivating a teaching self. Considers the creation of knowledge through research and the dissemination of that knowledge through teaching. Introduces the major educational and professional issues related to instruction.
Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Sociological Practice Program.
