NURS 232  - Nursing Care of Children

Units: 2
Nursing concepts and theory related to health care of the infant, toddler, school-age, and adolescent. Focuses on care of children within the family, emphasizing acute illness, health promotion, and growth and development. The nursing process is stressed in addressing both self-care requisites and deficits.
Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of the Director of the School of Nursing. Enrollment Requirement(s): NURS 212B , NURS 221  and NURS 222 . Simultaneous enrollment in NURS 233 .
