MLAN 391 - Food, Culture and Identities in French and Francophone ContextsUnits: 3 Explores food cultures and their representations in visual and print media in the French and Francophone world. Examines how food is an expression of identity. Analyzes various text types (e.g., film, food writing, poetry, essays, etc.). Introduces text and film analysis and fundamentals of cultural studies.
