CS 486 - Virtual RealityUnits: 3 Provides hands-on introduction to the concepts and practices of Virtual Reality (VR) application development. Develops 3D VR simulation software using a modern game engine and various VR hardware. Includes the principles of human centered computing design, framework and roles in team-based VR application development, software-hardware pipeline of VR applications, modern game engine software development, and 3D content creation.
Recommended Preparation: CS 485 .
May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: CS 497-9. Enrollment Restrictions: Major or Minors in: Computer Science, Computer Science and Information Systems, or Software Engineering. Enrollment restricted to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Computer Science Program.
Prerequisite(s): CS 311 .
