GEOG 350 - Environmental GeographyUnits: 3 Examines how humans affect, manage, and conserve the environment at various spatial and temporal scales. Environmental problems (e.g., air, soil, and water pollution, deforestation, biodiversity loss, habitat degradation, resource extraction) are discussed to develop an understanding of the complex interactions between social and physical systems. Natural variation and interconnections in the Earth’s systems are described, as a means of evaluating human influences on these systems.
