BIOL 604L - Advanced Developmental Physiology LabUnits: 2 Provides hands-on experience with experimental techniques for examining developmental physiology across a range of animal groups. Covers techniques in how to examine, stage and rear developing animals, assess phenotypic responses to altered environmental conditions, perform ecotoxicological assays, and measure morphology and physiology. Includes multi-week experiments to assess changes in physiology during development. Statistical analyses will be performed and experimental results will be presented in written and oral forms. BIOL 604L and BIOL 404B are dual-listed. These courses will be taught together by the same instructor. One hour of discussion. Three hours of laboratory. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: BIOL 404B . Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in the Biological Sciences graduate program. Field trip(s) during or outside of class may be required.
