WGSS 304 - EcofeminismUnits: 3 Examines the intersections of feminist, animal, ecological, and climate justice thought. Explores the ways in which ecofeminism has focused on relationships between humans and the natural world; prioritized the environment and all species; and engaged environmental issues. Analyzes ecofeminist perspectives that are intersectional and center voices of color, queer voices, and people with disabilities. Explores sexism and heterosexism; colonialism; the environment; indigenous knowledge; speciesism; racism; dis/ability; factory farming; food and intersectional justice; and climate change and justice.
