GEOG 325 - America’s Urban Areas: A Multidisciplinary Exploration
Units: 3An interdisciplinary examination of cities in the Americas. Political, sociological, economic, historic, and geographic factors of urban areas will be explored. An emphasis will be placed on the use of geographic information systems (GIS) software and Internet resources in understanding the urban context. The objective is to provide students with a set of tools which will allow them to pursue a greater understanding of how urban areas are shaped and function.
