CHEM 275 - Quantitative Investigations in Chemistry

A laboratory designed to give chemistry majors practical experience in standard methods of separation and quantitative analysis. These are applied to investigations of the fundamental topics presented in CHEM 160, and to analyses with industrial, environmental, or medical relevance. Volumetric, gravimetric, spectrophotometric, chromatographic, and electrochemical methods of analysis may be included.
Two hours of lecture. Six hours of laboratory.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 160 and CHEM 201L with a minimum grade of C (2.0).
Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): CHEM 160 or CHEM 162 .
