PSCI 463 - The Global-Jihadis Hydra and U.S. Foreign PolicyUnits: 3 Examines non-state threats to U.S. foreign policy. Increasing numbers of non-state actors challenge U.S. security interests, and traditional policy such as “deterrence” and “containment” prove less effective than with state actors. Policymakers must therefore account for these threats. This course considers one in detail: global-jihadis hydra.
