BIOL 383 - Tropical EcologyUnits: 3 A survey of the unmanaged and managed tropical terrestrial ecosystem and the biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) factors that affect tropical ecosystem structure and function. Emphasis will be on the community dynamics and biogeochemical cycling of tropical ecosystems, and how these processes are affected by land-use and land-cover change. This course may be taught together with BIOL 683 by the same instructor.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 210 , BIOL 211 , and BIOL 212 .
