Our Mission: The CSU Shiley Haynes Institute for Palliative Care provides high quality education to healthcare professionals and students, builds advocacy and promotes research to advance the care of those living with serious illness and their communities.

Palliative Care Courses and Education

Our palliative care programs are designed to equip healthcare workers—whether nurses, social workers, chaplains, physician assistants, physicians, or other healthcare professionals—with the skills and evidence-based knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional care to individuals with chronic or serious illness.

The curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of those working in various healthcare settings, helping you improve your practice in hospice and palliative care. Students gain practical insights and training directly from subject matter experts, clinical leaders, and university faculty.

All courses are delivered online, providing flexible learning options for busy professionals. We offer both instructor-led cohorts and self-paced courses, with continuing education hours awarded upon completion.
