BIOL 690 - Terrestrial Plant EcologyUnits: 3 Survey of the factors that influence the physiology, distribution, and abundance of land (terrestrial) plants. Focuses on plant ecophysiology, plant population dynamics (e.g., dispersal, germination, and recruitment), plant-plant and plant-animal interactions, and the effects of the abiotic factors (e.g., climate, water, and nutrients) on the structure and function of terrestrial plant communities. This course will be taught together with BIOL 390 by the same instructor. Enrollment restricted to students in the Biological Sciences graduate program who have not received credit for BIOL 390 .
