NURS 210 - Nursing Communication and Assessment

Units: 2
Introduction to the components of health assessment, therapeutic communication, and interview techniques with an emphasis on cultural and community variables. Introduces the student to the role of the nurse as teacher and health promoter. Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of the Director of the School of Nursing. Enrollment Requirements: Enrollment Requirement: Simultaneous enrollment in NURS 200 , NURS 201 , and NURS 211 .
