BIOL 354 - Principles of Ecology

Discussion of major concepts in population, community, and evolutionary ecology including population growth and regulation, competition, predation, energetics, adaptations, and diversity. Three hours of lecture. Three hours of laboratory. Field trip(s) during or outside of class (including weekends) may be required.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 210 , BIOL 211 , BIOL 212 , and BIOL 215  with grades of C (2.0) or better, or enrollment in the Biological Sciences graduate program.
